1947 - Founding of Acres Engineering
Acres Engineering was founded in Melbourne, Derbyshire, developing agricultural machinery. Its first product was a rotary cultivator.
1960s - Development of handling equipment
Following its initial agricultural products, Acres expanded its operations into handling equipment and technical solutions for industrial environments.
2000 - Consolidation as a full-service provider
The company evolved into a comprehensive model integrating CAD design, manufacturing, assembly, finishing, load testing, and technical documentation.
2022 - Opening of Acres Engineering Europe
Acres Engineering Europe was established in Malaga to strengthen the group’s presence in Europe and offer industrial design, technical support, and project management.

Acres Engineering Europe develops the design, engineering, and technical management from Spain. Manufacturing, assembly, and validation are coordinated according to each project, either with the industrial capacity of the Acres group in the UK or with selected local collaborating companies known for their quality, technical capability, and suitability for the work.
Yes. Acres can accompany the client from the initial technical visit to the solution definition, analyzing plant needs, workflow, access, handling, safety, and manufacturing requirements. The goal is to convert an operational problem into a viable, manufacturable, and easy-to-integrate technical solution.
Depending on the scope, we can provide CAD files, manufacturing drawings, BOMs, assembly documentation, usage instructions, load tests, technical documentation, and support for CE marking when applicable.
Yes. We can analyze an existing trolley, rack, fixture, workstation, or platform and propose improvements in ergonomics, safety, manufacturing, durability, part protection, or daily use efficiency.
It is not always necessary to have all information defined from the outset. If the client already has drawings, photos, dimensions, weights, plant routes, or technical requirements, we can study that information and assess the best solution.
If a clear definition does not yet exist, we can also help develop it. We review the need, the part, the process, support points, delicate areas, loading method, and usage conditions to define which type of equipment or solution best fits the project.
