Custom ticket vending machine
Project Description
This project for Paragon ID consisted of developing a custom ticket vending machine, designed to integrate all necessary components for operation into a single enclosure. The solution brings together the screen, dispenser, industrial computer, and cooling system within a robust and compact structure.
Client Need
Paragon ID required a custom structure to integrate into a single machine the different components of their ticketing system: screen, card dispenser, industrial computer, and cooling unit.
The equipment had to protect these components, keep them properly organized, and allow simple access during installation and maintenance tasks. Additionally, the enclosure had to offer the necessary strength, stability, and security for use as a self-service machine.
Solution Developed by Acres
Acres designed and manufactured a custom industrial enclosure around the components supplied by the client. The assembly combines a welded carbon steel interior structure with stainless steel exterior panels and specific supports for each piece of equipment.
The integration includes side ventilation grilles, housing for the cooling unit, DIN rail, card compartments, and a protected outlet with a hinged polycarbonate cover.
To facilitate technical access, the machine incorporates a gull-wing upper door assisted by gas springs and a lower front door. Three-point security locks, perimeter seals, and adjustable supports complete a custom engineering solution that is robust, organized, and prepared for final integration of the ticketing system.
